A brief summary of our friendly professional practice
What we do
We often see clients when a decision is being made about going to national school, when the children are transferring to secondary school or before they sit public exams such as the Junior Cert. or the Leaving Cert. We see an ever-increasing number of third level students (many of whom are mature students) and also working adults who are considering a career change or are worried about their skills at work.
Since the beginning, our practice has been providing assistance with the Irish and Modern Language Exemptions, Reasonable Accommodations for Junior and Leaving Certificate exams, the Disability Access Route to Education (DARE) applications when applying to third level and the full range of educational psychology issues including:
Recommending extra resources that children qualify for in school, e.g. learning support or resource hours.
Issues that adopted children have.
Preparation of court reports for children and adults.
